Your Terms & Conditions
Your Terms & Conditions are the contract language that goes out with every bid. The customer sees them on the bid page and in the PDF, and signs under them. Find them under Settings → Terms & Conditions. Only an owner can change them.
Writing and saving
Paste or type your terms. They save when you click out of the box. Save at the bottom of the page saves what's in the box right now, waits for it to land, and says All changes saved with the time.
- Plain text works as it is. Leave a blank line between paragraphs.
- To format it, use a little markdown and the customer sees it formatted, on the bid page and in the PDF:
## Payment termsat the start of a line makes a heading (#and###work too);- Permitsmakes a bulleted list,1. Deposita numbered one;**bold**and*italic*inside a line.
Anything else, including HTML, shows exactly as you typed it. - The preview under the editor shows exactly what your customer will see. - Leave it blank and your bids go out with no Terms & Conditions section.
How long they can be
Up to 60,000 characters, about eighteen single-spaced pages. A count under the field shows how much you've used.
If your text is over the limit, the count says by how much and nothing saves until it fits. Save says Couldn't save rather than pretend. Flow never cuts your terms short. A contract missing its last clauses is worse than one that won't save.
Changes don't rewrite sent bids
When you send a bid, Flow keeps a copy of your terms with it. Changing your terms later only affects bids you send after the change. A customer who already signed keeps the terms they signed.
